About Us

It all began in 2004 when a Mother and Daughter, Star Jones/esthetician and Amber Solorzano/ hair stylist and artist, joined forces and opened their first salon in Long Beach so they could share their passion for health conscious beauty. In 2007 they moved and expanded their establishment, creating an expansive modern zen feel that truly captures the essence of who they are and the spirit of the salon. Each member of the Surrender Team is valued for their unique gifts and talents, creating a synergistic atmosphere that is palpable from the moment you enter the red door. Their business model is the same as their philosophy: “We believe that lasting beauty comes from deep within the body and mind; how we feel about ourselves and the world around us directly affects our expression and outward appearance.”
